The Lyric Series
The Lyric Series redefines how we experience movement. Blending lyrical and contemporary ballet, we focus on deep musicality and expressive movement that feels natural, freeing, and personal.
More than learning choreography, this series is about building a movement vocabulary you can carry beyond the studio — allowing you to connect with familiar music, move instinctively, and enjoy dance as part of everyday life.
Through the fusion of contemporary and ballet technique, dancers are encouraged to explore artistry, spontaneity, and personal expression in a way that is both restorative and empowering.

Absolute Beginner Contemporary is an introductory class for adults taking their very first steps into contemporary dance. Designed as the perfect stepping stone to our Foundation Contemporary Class, this course focuses purely on fundamental contemporary techniques rather than complex choreography.
In this 10-week course, you will learn basic alignment, safe weight transfers, and floorwork mechanics. Every exercise is directly linked to the techniques taught in our Foundation Contemporary Class this season, helping you build the body awareness, coordination, and physical confidence needed to progress seamlessly into a structured programme.
This class is suitable for adults with zero prior dance experience, or those wanting to revisit the foundations of contemporary dance before moving forward.
*This class involves kneeling and moving on the floor.

Foundation Contemporary Class is a 4-week progressive programme designed for dancers who wish to explore the fundamentals of contemporary movement in a supportive and structured environment. Through weekly technique and choreography classes, dancers will develop body awareness, fluidity, musicality, coordination, and expressive movement quality while building confidence in their dance vocabulary.
Over the course of the four weeks, we will spotlight three musical artistes (and our community gets to vote on the final track from a shortlist of their popular songs). Drawing inspiration from the winning track's unique sound and style, we will dive into contemporary ballet technique, movement dynamics, floorwork preparation, and artistic expression.
The programme culminates in a final in-studio showcase, where dancers will come together to share their growth, artistry, and the choreography they have learned with family and friends.
This programme is suitable for adults with at least 3 to 6 months of basic ballet or contemporary experience who want to explore fluidity, floorwork, and moving off their center.
